The Role
Our site in Aurora 500 is seeking an Engineering Technician II to join our team. Entegris has an opening for an Engineering Technician II in the Pilot Plant Pads Division – an excellent career opportunity for qualified individuals, especially those with experience in a safety and quality driven manufacturing environment.
What You'll Do
Manufacture Entegris CMP Pads using a variety of manufacturing equipment (laminator, CNC, die press, brush clean)
Collaborate with the Development Engineering team for pad process creation
Complete equipment training and certifications
Manufacture Research and Development pad configurations for strategic sample orders
Perform required data entry and record keeping
Perform physical inventory counts of raw materials and finished goods
Perform required quality testing and inspections
Maintain a safe and clean working environment
Understand and adhere to Entegris values, procedures, policies, etc.
Engage in continuous improvement (6S) teams and LEAN manufacturing activities
Comply with plant safety initiatives
Perform miscellaneous production and/or pilot-related tasks (for example, cycle count, preventive maintenance, housekeeping, inventory)

Traits we believe make a strong candidate
High school diploma or equivalent
2+ years manufacturing experience preferred
Ability to read and understand documented processes and procedures
Good attention to detail
Ability to perform basic math computations and computer data entry
Ability to use measuring devices and hand/power tools
Ability to lift 50 lbs., climb a ladder up to 15 ft. and walk and stand during entire shift
Ability to repetitively pinch and grasp hand tools, repetitively twist, bend and reach upward and handle small screws, washers, fasteners, etc.
All employees go through 30-day on‑the‑job training in a fast‑paced, hard‑working environment
All employees are expected to be flexible, working in varying departments as needed
