Seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technician specializing in cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology to support cardiovascular procedures in a dynamic hospital setting. This contract opportunity offers an engaging role with weekday day shifts and weekend call responsibilities on a rotational basis.
Key Responsibilities
Assist cardiologists and interventional radiologists during heart catheterization and related procedures
Operate and maintain cath lab imaging equipment, ensuring patient safety and image quality
Prepare patients and monitor vitals throughout procedures, responding promptly to any changes
Maintain sterile technique and enforce safety protocols, including radiation safety measures
Required Qualifications
Valid CA Fluoro Permit and State Licensure
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT-R) credential
Minimum of 2 years experience as a Cath Lab Tech
Shift Details
Monday through Friday, four 10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Call coverage for weekends approximately every 3rd weekend
