Job Description
MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13‑week assignment in Falls Church, Virginia starting May 11, 2026. The role is a full‑time travel position with 40 hours per week on 10‑hour days.
Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures.
Operate conventional, fluoroscopic, or radiology equipment to obtain images of designated body parts according to physician specifications and/or orders.
Assist the physician with performance of various diagnostic and interventional procedures, monitoring patient response, passing instruments and catheters, maintaining a sterile field, and interpreting diagnostic data.
Assure compliance with federal, state, and local technical and professional regulations and accepted guidelines.
Deliver quality, cost‑effective patient care in a professional manner.
Work effectively to maintain an environment of excellence, patient‑focused, providing timely, compassionate, quality patient care.
Prepare and update patient records accurately and legibly.
Qualifications
Current license in good standing.
Appropriate specialty certifications/credentials.
Preferably 18 months of special procedures/interventional experience, ideally in a critical‑care setting.
Other requirements determined by client facility.
