
Field Construction Coordinator

The Field Construction Coordinator will primarily be on site with the construction crews covering jobs from Yuba City to Chico. The role involves supporting the General Foreman with project documentation, timecards, and pre‑fielding activities. The coordinator serves as a critical link between the field and office, promoting and enforcing safety practices. Extensive travel may be required; locations may change based on business needs.
How You Will Contribute
Work in the field to support construction crews.
Mark out & submit USA tickets and site survey requests.
Support construction crews during the construction phase to safely deliver a quality product.
Gather close‑out documentation from the field, compile and submit As‑Builts and completion packs to clients, and ensure 100% accuracy.
Interpret blueprints/specs/drawings, and order supplies and materials pertinent to the project.
Assist with inventory and deliveries.
Coordinate with the field crew and project management regarding any red‑line changes.
Coordinate with the field crew to gather all required backup documentation, including LME signatures, pictures, etc., needed for completion packs, go‑backs, and invoicing.
Create, update, and submit crew timecards.
Support pre‑construction activities, including all dependencies to set up jobs for a timely construction start.
Create Time & Material bills for extra work as required.
Coordinate with project management to confirm that upcoming jobs are cleared and ready for construction.
What You Bring To The Table
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Ability to quickly learn and utilize HCSS Heavy Job Field Management Software.
Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to the work schedule.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
The ability to work a flexible schedule based on the job, which can include weekends, overtime, or shift work on an as‑needed basis.
Your Prior Experience
Required: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Preferred: Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in related field.
Preferred: 1‑2 years of Construction Administration or related experience, preferably in the construction utility industry.
Required: Valid Class C Driver’s License, with no driving restrictions.
Compensation & Benefits
Pay: $31 – $33 per hour. This pay range is determined based on experience, education, skills, and applicable knowledge.
