Overview
The Field Service Representative II supports the Cardiopulmonary team by inspecting, servicing, and repairing equipment after training. Under general supervision, the role involves frequent contact with the home office to receive assignments and review service problems, with escalation to more qualified personnel for complex issues as needed.
Responsibilities
Performs preventive maintenance within scheduled timeframes on equipment in the assigned territory.
Drives service business within the territory and collaborates with Sales to maintain LIVANOVA presence.
Provides corrective maintenance on equipment within the assigned territory.
Ensures quality standards are met or exceeded in the performance of services.
Manages all assigned company assets (tools, test equipment, inventory, computers, pagers, documentation, etc.).
Completes timely paperwork, documentation, and administrative tasks per policy and procedures.
Maintains a personal development plan with goals to improve job skills and product knowledge.
Maintains financial cost effectiveness within the assigned territory.
Works effectively with coworkers, other departments, and customers.
Communicates accurate technical findings for problem analysis, root causes, and resolutions.
Performs other duties or projects as assigned.

High level of organizational and territory management skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage self and to use logical methods to identify and solve equipment-related problems.
Strong interpersonal and customer relations skills with the ability to relate well to a wide variety of people.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills relating to equipment issues.
Physical requirements: Stand 90%, Sit/Walk 10%; lift 0-50 lbs; grip, push, pull; kneel, stoop, bend, twist; reach above shoulders; repetitive computer use; pinch repeatedly.
Travel readiness: Availability for call 24/7; approximately 75% travel.
Communication and cognitive skills: Oral and Written Comprehension, Mathematical Reasoning, Memorization, Spatial Orientation, Bloodborne pathogen awareness.
Education and Experience
Requires 2 years of technical college or equivalent.
Minimum of 3 years as a Field Service Representative or Hospital Technician.
Pay Transparency
The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $85,000 base + bonus potential.
