ALM Commercial Landscaping‑Decatur is searching for a
Landscape Maintenance Field Supervisor
to supervise foremen and their crews, ensure work is scheduled to meet timelines, and communicate field operations up to branch management staff. This is a full‑time, benefit‑eligible position and qualifies for a company vehicle.
Responsibilities
Supervise foremen and their crews, including scheduling, directing work, interviewing, training, and performance management.
Ensure work meets company standards through site visits and inspections.
Work closely with the Account Manager on scheduling, production, safety, capital asset, fleet management, purchasing needs, and estimating new business.
Control and manage inventory of supplies and equipment.
Execute and track safety programs and weekly safety team meetings.
Use a variety of systems to track time, material, customer issues, work orders, payroll, and other metrics.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience in a landscaping field position, ideally 1–2 years of supervisory experience.
Knowledge of irrigation and equipment repair is ideal.
Excellent communication skills required; ability to speak Spanish and English is preferred.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass background and drug screening.
Strong leadership skills with ability to direct and instruct others.
Comfortable using computers and other technology.
Shares company values and can demonstrate them in the field.
Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs and walk 10+ miles a day.
