As a Mechanical Engineer I - E&U in our Boston office, you will help empower clients to achieve energy-efficient building solutions and greener outcomes.
Responsibilities
Perform load calculations, determine system sizing and layouts, calculate equipment sizes, and select equipment.
Complete field surveys and review equipment shop drawings.
As you gain project experience, lead mechanical project teams, write specifications, participate in project meetings with clients and other consultants, and support construction-phase work.
Qualifications
BSME/BSAE from an ABET-accredited school.
Minimum GPA of 2.5.
Non-academic internship.
Leadership involvement in extracurricular activities/student organizations preferred.
EIT certification (passed the FE exam) a plus.
Internship experience in the MEP consulting engineering field preferred.
Skills and Competencies
Strong spoken and written communications skills.
Excellent organization and time management skills.
Quick technical comprehension and motivation focused on client outcomes.
Able to effectively prioritize multiple tasks.
Effective working individually and within team environments.
