About The Opportunity
A specialized industrial engineering organization is seeking a

Controls Designer

to support the development of mission‑critical control systems. This is a high‑impact role where your work directly ensures safety, regulatory compliance, and operational performance in demanding industrial environments.

What You’ll Do

Design instrumentation and control systems for those critical systems

Develop I/O lists, control narratives, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts

Support PLC‑based control system architecture (Allen‑Bradley, Siemens, etc.)

Work closely with mechanical and process engineers to ensure safe system operation

Participate in FAT/SAT, commissioning, and system startup

Help define safety systems including ESD, detection, and shutdown logic

What You Bring

3–5+ years in controls or instrumentation engineering

Experience with P&IDs, process control loops, and industrial automation

Exposure to PLC systems and control panel design

Strong communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls, or related field (preferred)

Nice to Have

Experience in oil & gas, chemical processing, power generation, or similar industries

Exposure to hazardous environments or safety systems
