Position
Field Service Technician
Location Flexibility
Candidates need not be based at our Hagerstown, MD headquarters. We encourage applicants from MD, VA, WV, PA, KY, NY, IL, IN, OH, and MI.
Pay Range
$28 – $38 per hour, commensurate with experience.
Key Responsibilities
Set up, integrate, and thoroughly test equipment and systems at client locations.
Demonstrate equipment performance and capabilities to customers, confirming proper operation and satisfaction.
Provide rapid support for critical equipment failures to minimize downtime.
Perform emergency repairs by diagnosing and implementing timely solutions.
Educate and assist clients on proper equipment operation.
Communicate clearly and proactively with customers and internal teams to provide timely service updates.
Serve as the primary technical liaison, managing customer interactions and ensuring prompt resolution.
Submit detailed service reports, including parts used, time spent, and corrective actions taken.

Qualifications
Minimum: High School diploma or GED, 2 years of field service experience, and knowledge of precision cylindrical grinding. Familiarity with centerless and double‑disc grinding, CNC machines with servo drives & motors, and programmable logic controllers (Allen Bradley, Fanuc, Siemens, etc.) is required. Self‑starter, flexible, and willing to travel up to 75% of the time.
