Compensation and Availability

RN – Sign On Bonus: $6,000 for full‑time nurse, pro‑rated for part‑time.

Full and part‑time positions available.

Essential Job Responsibilities

Assess the health care needs of residents, make nursing diagnoses, and collaborate with the nursing team to transition these into interdisciplinary plans of care, ensuring continuity for residents.

Apply a broad scope of knowledge to address the needs of medically complex and mentally compromised residents.

Maintain functional communication with staff, other disciplines, residents, families, medical staff, and community.

Administer medications and treatments according to standards of practice.

Document care and treatment information accurately and timely, maintaining center records per state and federal requirements.

Complete documentation supporting the MDS and MMQ process to ensure center compliance.

Evaluate the effects of medications and treatments, monitoring outcomes to provide feedback to the interdisciplinary team and medical managers.

Lead and direct nursing staff in safe, effective care delivery by providing structure and education to residents regarding their health issues and care plan strategies.

Apply knowledge of resident rights protection, treating residents, staff, and community with respect and dignity, and maintaining confidentiality of information.

Stay current on all required educational components and pursue skill growth independently, including state CEU requirements.

Qualifications

Current, unencumbered RN license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Proficiency in basic computer skills.

Strong attention to detail.
