Supplemental Health Care is seeking a travel Ultrasound Technologist for a travel job in Oxford, North Carolina.
Key Responsibilities
Operate imaging equipment and review images to ensure they are of good quality and helpful for diagnosis.
Identify normal and abnormal imaging results, communicate a summary of the results to physicians/health professionals, and alert them to urgent problems.
Prepare patients for procedures and educate patients throughout the ultrasound exam.
Review patient medical history, record imaging results in patient records, and coordinate care with various departments within the facility.
Qualifications
Active certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)
Associate or bachelor's degree with coursework in sciences and anatomy
American Heart Association BLS
2 years of recent relevant experience
Contract Details
Duration: 13 weeks (possibility to extend)
Schedule: 40 hours per week, 8‑hour day shifts (AM shifts available)
Pay: $1,520 – $1,664 per week*
Hospital setting; travel assignment
