Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities
Assist in compiling and organizing data, reports, and documentation to support treaty and facultative reinsurance processes.
Research and resolve basic reinsurance-related inquiries by actively seeking out information and collaborating with team members. Escalate complex issues to senior reinsurance staff.
Collaborate with cross functional teams including underwriting, claims, operations and finance to help ensure alignment of reinsurance processes and departmental objectives.
Assist in communication and coordination of reinsurance schedules and meetings.
Adhere to established reinsurance guidelines, procedures, and internal controls to support compliance consistency.
Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
Job Requirements
Associate degree, or minimum of 6 years of relevant professional experience.
Minimum of 2 years experience in Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Strong organizational skills, ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines.
High attention to detail with sound decision making and problem resolution skills required.
Ability to build trusting working relationships while delivering high service standards.
Employees are expected to be on-site at the Downtown Los Angeles office four days a week, with flexibility to work one day remotely. Core in‑office days are Tuesday–Thursday, with the fourth day determined by business needs.
This job is non-exempt in Washington.
Salary Range
$64,860.00 - $86,940.00
