Role
Maintenance Technician: Are you a friendly problem solver who can deliver a five-star experience to our guests? As Maintenance Technician you will be a valuable asset to our skilled TEAM performing a variety of tasks, including general repairs, HVAC maintenance, and daily preventive maintenance of guest rooms.
Advancement Opportunities
Management Development Program (MDP) prepares top talent for leadership roles. Potential career paths include Maintenance Supervisor, Maintenance Manager, and Chief Engineer. You could achieve a management opportunity in less than one year.
Responsibilities
Perform general maintenance and repairs throughout the hotel, troubleshoot issues to determine necessary repairs, and perform routine maintenance and preventive maintenance programs.
Assist with housekeeping duties as needed and maintain the building exterior.
Respond to work orders and service calls to guest rooms in a timely manner.
Qualifications
Prior maintenance experience in a brand or luxury hotel environment is ideal, but training is available for the right hospitality professional.
Familiar with basic HVAC, plumbing, drywall, PTAC units, and electrical systems.
Knowledge of fire protection and life safety systems is a plus.
Excellent English communication skills (read, write, speak fluently).
Physically capable of lifting and moving objects 50–100 lbs.
Schedule flexibility including weekends and holidays. Ability to work independently and have a strong work ethic.
