What You’ll Do

Set up, operate, and run 2D laser cutting machines safely and efficiently

Program and nest parts using DXF files for optimal material utilization

Load and adjust laser programs and troubleshoot as needed

Perform first piece and in‑process quality inspections

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders

Handle material loading/unloading and organize parts per job requirements

Identify and correct quality issues or nonconforming parts

Maintain accurate production and quality documentation

Support continuous improvement efforts and maintain 5S standards

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED preferred

Familiarity with material handling equipment

Satisfactory completion of a forklift training program

Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal

Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team

Analytical and problem‑solving skills

Compliance with all health and safety regulations, policies, and procedures

Must have excellent attendance as well as willingness and ability to work overtime

Physically demanding task of unloading parts from sheet steel skeletons throughout the shift

Must be able to lift 50 pounds continuously

Must be able to pull and position steel sheets

Must be able to stand for long periods
