Overview
Emerald Coast NeuroFeedback has immediate part-time openings for neurofeedback technicians. This position is in-person only, located in Fort Walton Beach, FL, with potential to expand to more hours. Training is provided; prior neurofeedback experience is not required. The role involves interfacing with technology, learning software and EEG equipment, and supporting clients receiving mental health services. The ideal candidate views this as a long-term career and is reliable, professional, and comfortable working with adults and children.
Responsibilities
Work directly with clients in one-on-one neurofeedback sessions.
Guide clients through the neurofeedback process, including utilizing software and EEG equipment, explaining the process, and answering questions as necessary.
Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for all clients.
Communicate client progress to team members and supervisor.
Coordinate scheduling of appointments and track sessions delivered.
Manage clients and their progress; keep updates provided by the client.
Enter session notes within the established system and adhere to documentation timelines.
Maintain best practices and exceptional customer care; work closely with the team.
Troubleshoot technical or practical issues; open and/or close the office as needed.
Provide neurofeedback sessions: assess progress, place sensors on clients’ heads and ears, set up software, monitor sessions, address client questions, and ensure comfort; intervene during technical difficulties; remove and clean conductive paste from ears and scalp.
Clean sensors and neurofeedback rooms between clients.
Interact with patients with behavioral or health concerns with patience and compassion.
Document client updates daily in the record system; perform administrative duties as assigned.
Stay up to date on practice procedures, website, and blogs; attend weekly meetings.
