Mechanical Engineer – MEP (Mid / Senior Level)
We’re supporting a well-established, multidisciplinary engineering consultancy with a strong presence across Florida, delivering complex projects across aviation, commercial, and infrastructure sectors.
Due to continued growth, they’re looking to hire a Mechanical Engineer with experience in building systems design to join their Orlando team.
The role
You’ll be involved in the design and delivery of mechanical systems across a range of projects, working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders. This is a hands‑on engineering role with exposure to full project lifecycles.
Key responsibilities
Design HVAC and mechanical building systems for commercial and institutional projects
Produce and review drawings, specifications, and calculations
Support project delivery from concept through construction
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including electrical and civil
Engage with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders
What they’re looking for
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
Experience within MEP / building services design
Familiarity with relevant codes and standards in Florida / U.S.
Proficiency with design tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar
For more senior candidates
Experience leading projects or mentoring junior engineers
PE license or working towards
