Position Summary
Operate, maintain, and inspect crane and rigs for construction projects as assigned.
Job Functions
Coordinating with dispatch for job assignments
Operating and maintaining the crane
Inspecting crane and rigging
Reading and analyzing lift plans
Completing all paperwork for payroll, billing, maintenance, and safety in a timely manner
Ability to operate and maintain the crane in a safe manner
Qualifications – Necessary
Class B commercial driver’s license
NCCCO telescopic boom crane fixed cab certification
Qualifications – Desirable
Preference for High School Graduate
2-4 years’ experience
Occupational Health and Safety
Compliance with workplace policies and procedures for risk identification, risk assessment and risk control
Active participation in activities associated with the management of workplace health and safety
Identification and reporting of health and safety risks, accidents, incidents, injuries and property damage at the workplace
Working Conditions
Physical surroundings: Field environment with exposure to heights, noise and temperature.
Physical effort: Walking, turning, stooping and reaching for and carrying materials, stepping over and around obstacles, climbing ladders and scaffolding. Ability to lift over 25 lbs. on a regular basis. Must hear well enough to understand oral directions. Must see to read forms, labels, directions, prints, and specifications.
Travel: Report to same home office - travel will be from job site to job site daily.
Hours: Subject to overtime
