We're looking for a

Senior Mechanical (Plumbing) Engineer

who is excited about working on advanced facilities projects that enable the heart of our clients’ business. This is a geographically flexible role in the US with 10‑20% travel. Join us and you’ll have the chance to both support and lead projects at some of the world’s most state‑of‑the‑art industrial and commercial facilities. You’ll be accountable for schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks, as you gain familiarity with the client’s expectations, scope, budget and schedule. You may also provide on‑site assistance during startup, coordinating work activities with other design and engineering professionals and the discipline lead. Your multi‑discipline, highly interactive team will successfully deliver on the design, development, application, evaluation, recommendation, and specification of engineered systems and products for industrial building plumbing systems and components.

As a Sr. Mechanical Engineer, you will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) within the Mechanical discipline for plumbing systems, codes, US national and international standards. In this role you will solve complex problems, take a broad perspective to identify innovative solutions, and work independently with minimal guidance in only the most complex situations. You may lead a functional team or project and serve as a best practice and quality resource. You’ll also have the chance to utilize your technical expertise mentoring junior team members to help your team discover what drives them, nurturing their purpose and guiding them forward. Here’s what you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering

At least 10 years of practical application of mechanical engineering and plumbing design in complex industrial facilities

Professional Engineer (PE) license

Extensive on‑site field experience with the construction and installation of industrial plumbing systems and common trade practices

Strong communication skills both verbal and written

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills

Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi‑disciplinary teams

Strong comprehensive knowledge of International Plumbing Code (IPC)

Ideally, you’ll also have

Proficient working knowledge of Navisworks and some experience with Revit software

Forward thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute with innovative ideas

Displayed ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base

Passion for buildings and construction

Preferred candidates will have prior experience with semiconductor, data center, cleanrooms, or other high tech industrial facilities

Prior experience with plumbing codes outside the US and international construction projects is desired

The base salary range for this position is $132,900.00 to $182,700.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
