Design Project Manager – Data Center Design
Location:
United States (any location within the USA; role may be based anywhere in the USA)
Arcadis is a global leader in sustainable design, engineering, and consultancy for natural and built assets.
We are seeking experienced Data Center Design Project Managers to lead hyperscale data center projects across the United States.
Travel may be required up to 30% of the schedule domestically for site and client meetings.
Responsibilities
Facilitate client requirements for hyperscale data center designs nationwide.
Manage the design process from campus planning/basis stage through issuance of construction drawings, coordinating design execution, construction administration, procurement, and change orders.
Build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external teams, ensuring quality work and clear communication.
Travel to project sites, client meetings and other related engagements as needed.
Ensure project deliverables meet milestones, deadlines, and client formatting specifications.
Qualifications & Experience
10+ years of project design experience in data centers or large complex construction projects (hospitals, high‑rises, labs, manufacturing or high‑power plants).
Proven experience collaborating with multidisciplinary internal/external teams and final client teams.
Experience preparing project plans, technical specifications, implementation schedules, and coordinating internal/external teams.
Proficient with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) or Building Information Modeling (BIM) engineered solutions.
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field. Preferred licensure (PE, NCARB, RA) is strongly preferred.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Ability to handle multiple projects with evolving priorities in a dynamic, deadline‑driven environment.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary range: $80,461 – $132,761 (based on experience, education, budget, project & location).
