Our client is seeking a
Construction Manager
to support
owner‑side construction management services
for a large‑scale
hyperscale data center project .
This role works closely with the client's senior project manager, consultants, contractors, and other key stakeholders to help oversee and deliver a highly complex, mission‑critical facility. This is a highly visible project‑team position offering substantial opportunity for technical growth, leadership development, and career progression.
Responsibilities
Support design development, project budgeting, and cost management activities
Review, verify, and approve vendor pay applications and supporting documentation
Track quantities using timesheets, field data, and physical accounting methods
Assist with reviewing monthly contractor billing and payment applications on behalf of the owner
Lead recurring project coordination and progress meetings representing the owner
Review, analyze, and evaluate contractor schedule updates and progress reports
Maintain and oversee cost reports and monthly financial tracking
Support the management of extra work billing, change orders, and claims under the direction of the Project Manager
Manage and track design changes and the change‑management process
Oversee the submittal and RFI process on behalf of the owner's team
Promote and support a safe job site and work environment
Qualifications
8-10 years of experience in construction management, project engineering, or a related discipline
Strong need for experience on
mission‑critical, industrial, or process‑driven facilities , e.g. data centers
Ability to prepare, analyze, and clearly communicate cost and revenue projections
Working knowledge of local permitting and entitlement processes, with the ability to drive timelines
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to understand how individual responsibilities contribute to broader organizational and project goals
Proven ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, contractors, and clients
Demonstrated relationship‑building skills with peers, leaders, and project stakeholders
Commitment to ongoing professional development and skill enhancement
Reputation for being dependable, detail‑oriented, and thorough
Ability to think creatively and manage complex challenges on fast‑track, schedule‑driven projects
