Job Schedule
Part time, 20 hours per week. Shift times vary: 7:00 am–3:30 pm and 3:00 pm–11:30 pm. Every other weekend and holiday rotation.
Salary Range
$17.00–$24.00 per hour.
Job Summary
The Nursing Assistant (NA) serves as a caregiver to patients during the scheduled work period.
Provides patient‑centered nursing care and daily living assistance to assigned patients under supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
Assists with basic health‑care needs, including bathing, grooming, toileting, eating, meal preparation, dining assistance, emotional and spiritual support.
Administers delegated tasks and treatments and records vital statistics and other basic health information.
Collects non‑invasive biological specimens from patients as needed.
Performs clerical work related to scheduling and documenting patient health‑care.
Prepares patient treatment areas, cleans medical equipment, disposes of biomedical waste in accordance with policy.
Provides one‑on‑one care to patients when necessary for safe provision of care.
Qualifications
High school graduate or GED (preferred but not required).
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) preferred. Must obtain and maintain required department‑specific competencies and certifications.
Applicants in North Dakota or Minnesota who are not a CNA must be on the NA Registry as a Nursing Assistant within four months of hire.
