Overview
Currently seeking Hematologist/Oncologist for a rapidly expanding cancer program that supports more than 550 physicians.
Responsibilities
Inpatient consult service and outpatient responsibilities.
Inpatient care with a 6-week call schedule with hospitalist coverage.
See patients in a robust and supportive clinical setting.
Participation in clinical trials is strongly encouraged, including investigator-initiated research.
Schedule and Environment
4-day clinical work week plus 1 administrative day to complete documentation, participate in teaching, and cultivate research interests.
80% Medical Oncology / 20% Hematology.
Team, Structure, and Collaboration
Team currently consists of 6 Hematologists/Medical Oncologists, 5 APPs, and a full support staff.
Program also employs physicians from all oncology specialties with the exception of bone marrow transplant, offering true multidisciplinary care.
Academic and Teaching
Faculty will hold an academic title at the Clinical Assistant/Associate Profession level and have ample opportunities for teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.
