Hours: 36 hours per week (12-hour night shifts)
Employment Type: Travel
Requirements
Respiratory Therapist credential by the NBRC, and CPR certification
Minimum 18 months respiratory care experience, preferably in a critical care setting
Responsibilities
Evaluate, treat, and care for patients with breathing or other cardiopulmonary disorders
Provide respiratory care per physician orders and established policies and procedures
Participate in development and implementation of patient care plans
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and accepted practice guidelines
Maintain and promote good customer relations and communicate with management, coworkers, facility staff, patients, patient families, and other caretakers
Provide instruction to patients and caretakers about therapy methods and objectives
Prepare and update patient records accurately and legibly
