Industrial Machinery Millwright I
DFW Movers & Erectors, Inc. is looking for an Industrial Machinery Millwright to join our team.
Responsibilities
Move equipment and machinery as needed with the proper and safe use of equipment.
Use a variety of hand tools, measuring tools, and equipment for cutting, welding, and brazing to adequately fulfill your daily job duties.
Dismantle machines and remove all tools at the end of a project.
Utilize cranes, forklifts, and trucks to complete large-scale projects.
Use professional judgement to decide which machines, techniques, and tools are the best option for moving equipment and completing all necessary jobs.
Package, label, and categorize machine parts after taking them apart with accuracy and according to the manufacturer’s standards and specific project requirements.
Clean up at the end of shift to keep the job site well‑organized and free of unnecessary clutter.
Take steps to ensure every job is done safely and completed in accordance with the latest workplace safety regulations, laws and requirements.
Occasionally may be required to lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 18 years of age.
Physically able to complete job responsibilities.
