Job Description Summary
Farm is seeking a highly collaborative and self-driven

Mechanical Engineer

to join our talented and dynamic product development group to play a critical role in creating the next generation of advanced medical technologies.

Responsibilities

Work on an exciting variety of products ranging from home health wearables to next generation therapy systems to surgical robotics.

Engage with clients ranging from early stage start ups to fortune 100 medical device companies.

Collaborate with industrial design, user interface, human factors, software, mechanical, and quality teams to create exceptional product designs.

Conceptualize, investigate, and develop innovative product architectures, mechanisms, and electro‑mechanical designs.

Deliver compelling presentations to clients and internal teams to communicate design approach, value, tradeoffs, and recommendations.

Create robust design solutions using CAD, analysis software, and lab equipment.

Assemble and test prototypes to support design decisions and demonstrate performance.

Qualifications (Required)

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar.

1+ years of product development experience.

Highly collaborative team attitude.

Demonstrated ability to use SolidWorks and/or Creo to resolve mechanical challenges and produce high quality CAD databases.

Working knowledge of various manufacturing processes and techniques (including plastic part design, metal fabrication, and extrusions).

Ability to quickly ramp up on, assess, and resolve diverse product challenges.

Versatility and high levels of creativity and technical comprehension.

Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills.
