Job Overview

Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair HVAC, refrigeration, boiler, and plumbing systems using schematics and diagnostic tools.
Perform maintenance, installations, and field service for heating, cooling, and mechanical equipment.
Interpret technical diagrams, complete emergency and scheduled service calls, and use welding/mechanical skills as needed.
Maintain accurate service records, safely operate a company vehicle, and recommend system upgrades and solutions to improve customer comfort and air quality.
You are willing to take on hot attics and crawl spaces to get the job done.
You are willing to take the time to explain things to the customer in a way they will understand.
Experience
Proven experience as an HVAC service technician or in a similar field service role with a strong background in HVAC/R systems.
Hands‑on experience with construction projects involving HVAC installation or maintenance is highly desirable.
Knowledge of refrigeration systems including ammonia refrigeration.
Familiarity with plumbing systems, appliance repair, boiler operation, welding techniques, and property maintenance practices.
Mechanical aptitude with the ability to read schematics and technical drawings accurately.
Prior experience working with HVAC design principles and equipment repair is advantageous.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating various field service vehicles is a plus.
