Position
Design Engineer
at Thermal Transfer Products (TTP), located in Racine, WI.
Responsibilities
Creation of new parts in the ERP system, manufacturing BOMs, and 3D modeling / 2D prints for production and customer approval.
Manage the scope of work for mechanical design on customized projects, including planning, supervising project work, and verifying designs to ensure effective performance.
Utilize project management skills to coordinate, communicate and execute processes with manufacturing, Purchasing, Application Engineering, Sales, and Customers.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or equivalent from an accredited college or university is required.
3D CAD design experience (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD Inventor, Pro/Engineer) including modeling and automation systems design; SolidWorks preferred.
Experience with project management methods, practices and tools including scoping, facilitation, delegation, and risk management best practices.
Experience with heat exchangers preferred.
Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
