Basic Qualifications
B.S. or equivalent professional experience in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related technical discipline.
Prior experience leading the mechanical design for prototypes and products, including 3-D CAD modeling, thermal and structural analysis, cable design, and manufacturing drawings.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to obtain a USG Secret clearance.

What You'll Do
This assignment involves pursuit and execution of leading-edge research and development programs related to modeling, simulation, design, and testing related to overall mechanical design. The role expects a candidate to be highly proficient at Computer Aided Design (CAD) software and be able to perform advanced thermal and structural analysis for a wide range of applications. Candidates will engage in small, focused development teams in order to create real world solutions by converting scientific first principles into innovative designs for applied technologies.
Desired Skills
Prior experience with DoW hardware systems and requirements.
Prior experience working with US Department of War Science and Technology organizations, ex. DARPA, AFRL, ARL, NRL, IARPA.
Current Top-Secret Clearance with an investigation within 6 years
