About The Job
A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi‑disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross‑functional partners across the company. You’re equally comfortable explaining your team’s analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers. Carbon market instruments, including those representing clean energy, are a key lever of our operational and value chain decarbonization roadmap. In this role, you will manage our growing portfolio of carbon market instruments, own analytics related to market instrument procurement across our portfolio, and work with partners to obtain data, interpret it into actionable insights, and build scalable infrastructure and new data capabilities. You will also provide relevant metrics, portfolio insights and analysis to support our strategic decarbonization efforts.
Compensation
The US base salary range for this full‑time position is $138,000-$198,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Provide technical oversight for our carbon market instrument strategy, including procurement and portfolio management of energy instruments.
Work with our technical teams to build the analytics and business intelligence necessary for tracking and forecasting metrics and KPIs in pursuit of Google’s sustainability commitments.
Lead the development of tools, analysis, and reporting for the market instrument portfolio to support strategic investment decisions and leadership reviews.
Drive engagement and collaboration with a cross‑functional team to execute on forecasting, tracking, and data quality.
