Want to be the boss? Now’s your chance – Domino’s Pizza is hiring assistant managers. It’s a tough job that needs a natural like you. You'll need judgment, math skills and the ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

Manage everything that happens during your shift, including cost controls, inventory control, cash control and customer relations.

Set the example and follow all policies and procedures 100% of the time, expecting the same from your crew.

Staffing and paperwork management.

Food management and work to a schedule.

Maintain perfect image and adherence to standards.

Provide great customer service, attendance and punctuality.

Arrange transportation to/from work.

Keep store clean and participate in marketing efforts.

Contribute to profitability.

Operate all equipment.

Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area and walk‑in cooler.

Prepare products and receive/process telephone orders.

Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.

Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.

Qualifications

General job duties for all store team members as listed above.

Orientation and training provided on the job.

Communication skills: ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions; communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.

Essential functions/skills:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator).

Must be able to make correct monetary change.

Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.

Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to make rapid and accurate movements with speed.

Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.

Work Conditions

Varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when removing trash and performing other outside tasks.

In‑store temperatures range from 36°F in the cooler to 90°F or higher in some work areas.

Sudden changes in temperature in the work area and while outside.

Exposure to food odors and cornmeal dust.

Cramped quarters, including walk‑in cooler.

Hot surfaces/tools from oven up to 500°F or higher.

Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.

Sensing

Talking and hearing on telephone.

Near and mid‑range vision for most in‑store tasks.

Depth perception.

Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.

Temperaments
The ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet strict quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, make judgments and decisions.

Physical Requirements

Standing: most tasks are performed from a standing position.

Walking: for short distances and durations.

Sitting: paperwork is normally completed in an office at a desk or table.

Lifting: bulk product deliveries are made twice a week or more and are unloaded using a hand truck (up to 50 pounds).

Carrying: large cans (3 lb 7 oz) and pizza sauce (30 lb) may be carried between locations; trays of pizza dough also carried three at a time (~12 lb per tray).

Pushing/Pulling: trays on dollies (24‑30 trays) require a force of up to 7.5 lb.

Climbing: infrequently navigate stairs or climb a ladder to change signs or perform maintenance.
