Job Summary
Endoscopy Institute of Hawaii, located in Honolulu, is looking for PRN GI Technician/Medical Assistant to join our team.

Endoscopy Institute of Hawaii is a leading outpatient facility dedicated to providing exceptional care in gastroenterology and endoscopic procedures. Our center combines advanced technology with a team of highly skilled professionals to deliver accurate diagnoses and effective treatments.

Responsibilities
As a GI Technician, you will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining video endoscopes and accessories in the GI Endoscopy suites under the Center Manager's guidance. You must follow CDC guidelines for infection prevention and control. Additionally, you will assist physicians and staff nurses during procedures, perform daily equipment maintenance, and support the center's mission.

Monday‑Friday work schedule. Some Saturday work hours depending on center needs.

No call required, no nights.

Ability to float to other centers with added compensation.

Compensation
$20 – $25 per hour, depending on experience.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED.

Prior experience as a GI Tech, Endo Tech, Medical Assistant, or Sterile Processing Tech is a plus.

Patient care experience required in acute or critical care setting. We will train on GI/Endoscopy procedures.

Knowledge of GI/Endo procedures or sterile processing techniques is a plus.

Familiarity with clinical or surgical settings.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification accredited by the American Heart Association (or ability to obtain).
