Overview

Under the direction of the Manager of Research and Grants Accounting, perform post-award research accounting for sponsored projects and other restricted funds. Provides accounting support for institutionally funded research. The Research and Grants Accountant will implement systems and procedures to support accurate and timely accounting and reporting of the hospital's research and programmatic grant related accounting in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and OMB Universal Guidance. These systems will include controls to help preserve and protect hospital assets.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree Accounting or related and 5-7 years experience Basic Accounting skills; Familiar with the nuances of Research and Grant accounting

Starting Pay

Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $28.20/hr, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience.
