Pay Rate:
$33-35/hour (W2-Inclusive all)
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Electronic Assembler with Fiber Optics experience to support manufacturing and testing operations. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with electronic components, wiring, and fiber optic systems, along with the ability to troubleshoot, test, and maintain high‑quality production standards.
This role involves working in a workshop environment, focusing on fiber optic sensor testing, equipment configuration, and continuous process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Test and validate fiber optic sensors to ensure high-quality performance
Install, assemble, and troubleshoot electronic boards and wiring systems
Perform fiber optic splicing and handle optical components
Configure, prepare, and maintain test and measurement equipment
Follow detailed work instructions, schematics, and assembly drawings
Maintain accurate production records and travelers
Assist in updating procedures and suggesting process improvements
Support cross-training initiatives to improve team efficiency
Ensure adherence to safety standards and clean workspace practices
Required Skills & Qualifications
5+ years of experience in:
Electronic assembly
Wiring harnesses, connectors, and mechanical assemblies
Strong ability to:
Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and assembly prints
Work with optical test and measurement equipment
Hands‑on experience with:
Fiber optic splicing equipment
Good organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and safely
Commitment to maintaining a clean and efficient work environment
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in fiber optic sensor testing
Exposure to manufacturing or production environments
Experience contributing to process improvements
