Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Interventional Radiology (IR) Technician to support technologists and nursing staff during radiologic and interventional procedures. This role is essential to ensuring efficient workflow, patient safety, and high-quality care within the Radiology department.

Responsibilities
Evaluates and coordinates activities during surgical procedures by anticipating staff needs and necessary supplies.
Adheres to proper surgical procedures of aseptic technique and safety in the use of instruments and equipment.
Maintains an accurate count of sponges, needles, and instruments. Gathers supplies and instruments and assembles them before procedures.
Ensures that specimens are correctly handled and routed to the proper source.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school or GED
BLS required
Prefers knowledge of surgical and radiologic procedures
I.V. certification is preferred
