Job Description & Responsibilities
Clinicians will work with students and staff to identify and treat social, emotional, and behavioral issues in a positive and fast‑paced setting. Responsibilities include providing direct support to students to help them understand and manage their emotions, build resilience, and develop healthy coping strategies. The Social Worker will create individualized support plans and conduct interventions to address issues such as bullying, crisis situations, and behavioral challenges. Throughout the school year, they will provide counseling services to students in individual and group settings and assist in providing training and resources to teachers and staff on effective strategies to drive social and emotional development both in school and at home.
Required Qualifications
Social Worker, School
Experience: New Grad Accepted Graduate‑level degree in Social Work, accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE)
Active Social Work license in state of residence
Preferred Qualifications
Hours of supervised work experience
Clear, articulate communication skills
Ability to develop strategies and make referrals for a diverse population
Previous school experience a plus
Completion of a criminal record and background check
