CLINICAL SOCIAL WORKER – ISUDT (Medical Social Worker, SATF) – Kings County, CA
Job Description and Duties
Under the general direction of the Supervising Psychiatric Social Worker, the Clinical Social Worker conducts assessments and summarizes case information for diagnosis, treatment planning, and disposition of patients. The role collaborates in diagnostic formulation, develops, monitors, and modifies treatment plans in partnership with an interdisciplinary team, provides assessments, group therapy, collateral conferences, and documents and evaluates patient progress.
This position is part of the Integrated Substance Use Disorder Treatment Program (ISUDT), which delivers specialized, medical‑assisted care to patients with substance use histories. The program focuses on optimal treatment outcomes, successful reintegration, and recidivism reduction.
Recruitment and Retention Bonus
may be available for clinicians newly hired with CCHCS.
Compensation
is authorized under Section 5 of the Hiring‑Above‑Minimum framework: P $8,678 or Q $9,319.
Qualifications
Possession of a valid Associate Clinical Social Worker license issued by the California Board of Behavioral Science.
Willingness to promote an equitable and inclusive workplace that celebrates diversity.
Verification of possession of Minimum Qualifications (MQ) will be required for interview.
Special Requirements
Background investigation using Live Scan fingerprinting and Tuberculosis (TB) testing are required prior to appointment.
