
Residential Lending Specialist - Citizens Private Bank

Responsibilities
Strong understanding of Private Bank credit policy, underwriting guidelines, and loan origination systems.
Serve as the main point of contact for Relationship Managers, Client Relations team, and third parties after RM handoff.
Perform thorough analysis of client financials to determine loan eligibility and qualification.
Monitor the active pipeline to ensure loan workflow is efficient and closing deadlines are met.
Maintain high-level quality control by verifying the accuracy of financial and loan documents.
Manage the end-to‑end loan process with internal and external partners from loan live date through closing, including presenting loans to Credit Officers for approval, locking rates, ordering appraisals and title, collecting conditions, and coordinating closing and post‑closing requests.
Specialize in Residential Lending and Underwriting, setting up loan and borrower terms in Empower, ordering inspections, completing underwriting reviews, generating conditions, and providing initial approval decisions or loan recommendations for a Credit Risk Officer.
Qualifications
3+ years of residential lending underwriting and loan processing experience.
Demonstrated success working with high‑net‑worth, non‑traditional loans and mortgage underwriting.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail.
Proficient use of MS Excel, including pivot tables, macros, formulas, and application navigation.
Hours & Work Schedule
Hours per week: 40 (this is an exempt position; meeting deadlines may require additional hours as needed).
Work schedule: Monday–Friday (required 4 days in office/1 day WFH).
Hiring locations: West Palm Beach, FL; San Francisco, CA; and Los Angeles, CA.
Pay & Benefits
The salary range for this position is $100,000.00 – $130,000.00 per year plus an opportunity to earn an annual discretionary bonus. Actual pay is based on various factors, including work location and relevant skills and experience.
