Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Corporate Senior Accountant. This position reports to the Financial Reporting Manager and is responsible for supporting the preparation and filing of the company’s financial statements. This role will work with the broader accounting, legal, and investor relations teams to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant external financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare supporting schedules for 10‑K/10‑Q footnotes, MD&A tables, and non‑GAAP reconciliations
Assemble tie‑out support and maintain documentation for filings and audits
Collaborate cross-functionally with FP&A, Legal, Tax, Treasury, and other partners to gather data and ensure reporting accuracy
Assist in the drafting of selected disclosures and footnotes
Support process improvements, template updates, and automation efforts
Assist with XBRL tagging, mapping, and validation
Support the preparation of 8‑K filings, earnings releases, and other periodic submissions
Provide ad hoc assistance and support for special projects, as necessary
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in accounting
One to four years of experience in public accounting or SEC reporting/financial accounting
Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
Excellent oral and written communication skills to collaborate effectively across all organizational levels
Experience with Oracle Fusion, Hyperion, Smart View, Workiva or other enterprise accounting and financial information systems is a plus
Insurance or insurance brokerage industry experience is a plus
