This temporary position of BMAR provides in-depth system knowledge and field experience related to the theory of operation and troubleshooting of complex Patriot missile system Major End Items (MEI) electronic and mechanical problems. The role is based in UAE.
What You Will Do
Provide day-to-day execution and oversight of the UAE Patriot program and modification processes; demonstrate depot-level diagnostic, fault isolation, cleanup and repair for Patriot Weapon System MEIs.
Perform all electronic repairs on location with detailed system knowledge and use all hardware and software tools available to Organizational and Intermediate Maintenance.
Monitor work performed by subordinates to ensure it meets or exceeds established quality standards.
Qualifications You Must Have
Successful completion of a Patriot System Intermediate Maintenance Course for MOS 27X/34S/94S/916A/918D/140E/14E/14T or equivalent instruction on a similar electronic system conducted by the military or the system contractor.
Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree with minimum 3 years of experience.
Minimum 5 years of field maintenance experience troubleshooting, fault isolation, repair, and functional verifications of the Patriot Air Defense system or similar electronic systems using maintenance diagnostics, unit self-tests, BITE, tools and available test equipment.
Experience with Department of the Army Modification Work Order (DAMWO) installations, including system integration and checkout.
Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship required for clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer
Prior Patriot Depot Forward maintenance experience.
Experience with Raytheon Quality Control procedures.
Demonstrated experience with Patriot refurbishment, modification, and system integration and checkout (SICO) processes, and Contractor Logistics Support.
Planning, judgment, decision-making and interpersonal skills; experience training team members.
Previous experience in International Patriot FMS Programs.

Hourly rate: $41.73 to $79.42 (good faith estimate).
