Financial Planner

Talon Hiring Solutions has a client in the Hoover, AL that is looking for a Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) to join a fast-paced, independent wealth management and financial planning firm.

This role is responsible for delivering comprehensive financial planning services to high-net-worth individuals and families, helping clients define and achieve their long-term financial goals. The ideal candidate is analytical, client-focused, and experienced in building customized financial strategies aligned with each client’s values and objectives.
What you will do:
Conduct detailed client interviews to assess full financial situations, goals, and risk tolerance
Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive financial plans
Create tailored strategies for wealth accumulation, income planning, tax optimization, and risk management
Utilize financial planning software (e.g., eMoney, MoneyGuidePro) to build and maintain accurate plans
Prepare and present client-ready reports, recommendations, and financial narratives
Maintain accurate client data and engagement through CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce)
Collaborate with internal team members to ensure high-quality client service and plan execution
What you will bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
Advanced certifications (CPA, CLU, ChFC, CEPA, MBA) are a plus
Experience working with high-net-worth clients preferred
Knowledge of life, health, disability, and long-term care insurance products
Strong analytical and quantitative skills
Excellent communication and presentation abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial planning software
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
