Job Summary
The Audiology Assistant supports clinical audiology services within the Department of Otolaryngology at UC Davis Health, providing care to a diverse patient population. Minimum Qualifications
Must have a valid State of California Audiologist Aide registration within 6 months of hire date
Comfort and ability to work directly with children and adults
Knowledge and skill to perform in‑office repairs and modifications of hearing devices or ability to learn
Ability to communicate effectively with patients and their families
Ability to communicate effectively with physicians and other health care providers
Organization skills necessary to maintain accurate records related to patient care and clinic maintenance
Proficiency with Microsoft Office software
Preferred Qualifications
California State Hearing Aid Dispensing License or eligibility for licensure preferred but not required

Department Overview
The Department of Audiology provides specialized expertise in auditory and vestibular care, using the latest medical technologies and treatment approaches to support excellent patient outcomes for patients of all ages. The department works closely with Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery to evaluate and manage pre‑ and post‑surgical patients. Services include comprehensive audiologic and vestibular evaluations; implantable device evaluation, programming, and management; hearing aid and assistive listening device dispensing and support; and OSHA‑required hearing screenings.

Salary or Pay Range: $30.73 – $38.21 per hour
Salary Frequency: Hourly

Shift: Monday – Friday, 8 hours
Location: Sacramento and Natomas, CA
