As a Sea Logistics Summer Intern, you’ll explore how global trade really works behind the scenes—at Kuehne+Nagel, one of the world’s top global 3PL companies. This immersive internship program runs 10 to 16 weeks, depending on your academic schedule, and offers hands‑on exposure to the fast‑paced world of sea logistics and ocean freight forwarding. You’ll learn directly from industry professionals, collaborate with a cohort of fellow interns, and gain real‑world experience using logistics technology and systems that power global supply chains. Along the way, you’ll participate in networking events, executive speaker sessions, and structured learning activities designed to help you grow personally and professionally.
How you create impact
Integrate into a team within one of our major business units – Sea Logistics
Learn Kuehne + Nagel systems, terminology, and business solutions used in day‑to‑day global operations
Assist with operational and administrative activities related to sea freight logistics
Participate in internship program experiences, including guest speakers, intern lunches, and check‑in meetings
Track your learning progress using program resources and feedback
Develop and present a final internship presentation showcasing your experience and key takeaways
What we would like you to bring
Rising senior or recent graduate, preferably in relevant majors including supply chain, logistics, business, or a related field
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel
Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast‑paced setting
A positive attitude with curiosity, motivation, and a desire to learn and grow

Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, skills, job location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
