Summary of the Job
The Private Wealth Advisor is a trusted advisor who will serve ultra‑affluent clients and prospects that want to build, grow, and preserve wealth. The typical customer will have Investible Assets >$5MM with sophisticated and complex needs. Through a team‑led approach, the Private Wealth Advisor will help families and business owners in every life stage to achieve their banking, long‑term planning, and wealth preservation needs.

About This Role
The Private Wealth Advisor works with a dedicated team of experts that will help families identify and meet their financial goals and objectives. Advisors and specialists work together to review, identify, and deliver holistic family needs.

Job Specific Responsibilities
Leverages specialty resources in a team‑led approach to advise, guide, and deliver long‑term planning and investment advice and solutions to customers to effectively manage and preserve their overall wealth. The Advisor surrounds the client with a team of experts that will help their families manage and preserve multi‑generational wealth. The Family Office offers a comprehensive service set that spans holistic governance and planning to family education and concierge services.

Exceeds the customer’s expectations by transforming the customer’s needs into relevant product/service offerings. Works collaboratively with Trust, Planning and Investment teams to deliver on customer holistic needs.

Applies functional and technical knowledge to solve complex problems using sophisticated analytical thought to exercise judgment and identify innovative solutions.

Interprets internal and external business challenges and recommends solutions for the customer’s needs today and for the future.

Provides personalized education, advice, guidance, and solutions using the integrated delivery of investment management, fiduciary advice, specialized asset management, full‑service financial planning, business succession planning, and credit and depository services.

Broadens the scope of customer relationships through a focused and deep understanding of each individual customer’s needs with a commitment to a fiduciary standard. Responsible for growing and retaining Wealth Management relationships utilizing effective relationship skills, sales strategies, and engaging internal and external sources. Takes accountability for achieving business results to the Individual Segment goals and profitability objectives under changing circumstances.

Business Development

Drive new client acquisition through targeted prospecting, referrals, networking, and strategic partnerships.

Develop and execute a business development plan to grow the UHNW client base and expand share of wallet with existing relationships.

Participate in industry events, conferences, and thought leadership initiatives to raise profile and attract new business.

Leverage internal and external centers of influence (e.g., investment bankers, attorneys, accountants) to identify new UHNW prospects.

Maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads and conduct regular follow‑up to convert opportunities into long‑term relationships.

Will exhibit professional behavior and promote positive working relationships.

Understands and complies with bank policy, laws, and FINRA/SEC regulations, and the bank’s BSA/AML Program, as applicable to all job duties.

Ideal Candidate for This Role
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required, MBA helpful, plus 10+ years of experience in the Wealth Management industry.

Specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise in Wealth Management discipline or field. Significant experience in one or more of the following: Investment Management, Trust, Estate Planning or Business Succession Planning.

Previous successful business development activities and effective relationship management experience.

Ability to provide investment advice and guidance to customers with highly complex and sophisticated relationships.

Ability to work collaboratively and cohesively within a team environment.

Strong knowledge of the finance industry and the local, state, national and global economy.

Ability to listen attentively to customer needs to best deliver a comprehensive solution for the customer.

Ability to communicate confidently with ultra‑affluent customers and prospects demonstrating poise, conviction and executive presence while speaking.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills requiring the ability to deliver advanced communications, including presentations and recommendations to an audience that includes all levels of internal and external contacts.

Flexibility of schedule to accommodate client meetings occurring prior to or after normal business hours.

Additional Qualifications
State Life, Accident & Health and Variable Contract insurance licenses. Certifications or degrees such as a CRPC, CFP, CPA, CFA, CWS, CTFA, CFM or MBA, JD or ability to earn accreditation.

Candidates must possess unrestricted work authorization and not require future sponsorship.

Compensation
Compensation range (base pay): $126,830.00 - $215,612.00.

This role may have a specific starting pay within this range.

Final compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon work experience, education, and/or skill level.
