The salary range reflected above is the normal hiring range for 2026. The full salary range, including longevity pay, is $31.21 - $44.23 per hour.
This position is part of the Civil Service Basic Unit Employees Collective Bargaining Agreement, represented by Council 5 of AFSCME.

Responsibilities
An employee in this class is responsible for performing professional accounting functions required for maintaining a variety of departmental and institutional accounts. Duties include analyzing and monitoring financial and budgetary systems, executing complex accounting functions, and recommending improved procedures and methods in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). The work is performed under the direction of assigned supervisory staff.
Minimum Qualifications (Pass/Fail)
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in accounting; OR graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in finance and two (2) years full‑time paid, verifiable accounting related experience.
Possession of a valid driver's license.
