
Senior Accountant

About the role
We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our accounting team and support the financial operations of multiple plant locations. You will be fully remote, with a preference for candidates located on the East Coast (near Pennsylvania) and include occasional travel to plant locations in Pennsylvania and New Jersey (2-3 times per year). You will oversee core accounting activities including accounts payable oversight, reconciliations, journal entries, and month‑end close, while ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal policies. The Senior Accountant will report directly to the Financial Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day‑to‑day accounting for assigned plants and projects
Prepare month‑end journal entries and perform account reconciliations
Support accounts payable, audits, and GAAP‑compliant financial reporting
Analyze and communicate budget‑to‑actual variances
Support budgeting, forecasting, process improvements, and ad hoc projects
Travel occasionally to PA and NJ plant locations to support operations
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
3-5+ years of experience in public accounting or related industry accounting roles
Proficiency with accounting software (Great Plains experience)

Base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications, and skills, is estimated to be $75,000‑100,000 per year.
