At Duncan Family Farms, we grow more than just organic produce—we grow innovation, efficiency, and future leaders. As a Post Harvest & Logistics Intern, you'll get a behind‑the‑scenes look at how fresh produce moves from the field to customers across the U.S., Canada, and the U.K.

If you’re interested in supply chains, operations, and how everything comes together after harvest, this is your chance to jump in and learn by doing.

What You’ll Be Doing

Help weigh and record incoming product straight from the field

Support shipping documentation and ensure accuracy

Monitor shipment details like temperature logs and ETAs

Keep records organized for audits and traceability

Assist with order entry and internal systems

Help coordinate communication between field, cooling, and logistics teams

Support inventory tracking and reconciliation

(Optional) Assist with forklift operations if trained and certified

Follow all food safety and workplace safety standards

What You’ll Learn

Cold chain management (keeping produce fresh from start to finish)

Shipping, logistics, and supply chain operations

Inventory tracking and order systems

Audit documentation and traceability processes

Real‑world communication across teams and partners

What We’re Looking For

Currently studying (or recently graduated) in Supply Chain, Ag Business, Logistics, Business Administration, Accounting, or similar

Interest in operations, logistics, or agriculture

Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

Organized and detail‑oriented

Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, hands‑on environment

Requirements

Must be 18 years or older

Able to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods

Able to lift up to 35 lbs occasionally

Willing to work in outdoor conditions (heat up to 110°F and cold as low as 30°F)
