Job Summary
The Utility Worker primarily works in the outside production area of the AmeriGas Cylinder Exchange facility. The employee is responsible for the processing of 20 lb. barbecue grill cylinders.

Duties and Responsibilities
Sort, inspect, clean, paint, label, and refill empty cylinders.
Maintain a safety focus at all times and wear proper PPE.
Ensure consistent quality of cylinders being processed.
Load filled cylinders onto trucks for next day's shipments.
Stand and walk 8‑12 hours per day.
Lift 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the day.
Perform general housekeeping duties.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Follow processes, procedures, and instructions.
Function effectively as a member of a production team.
Willingness to grow and learn.
Basic mechanical aptitude.
Basic computer knowledge.
Work in a fast‑paced environment.
Stand 8‑10 hours per day.
Obtain required state licensing.
Be forklift certified.
Education & Experience
1‑2 years manufacturing work experience preferred.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Working Conditions
Environmental conditions such as wind, rain, ice, and snow may affect the job; production area is not enclosed.
Compensation
The pay range is $17.13 to $18.13 per hour, depending on applicant skills, qualifications, experience, and market data. Additional compensation may include eligibility for performance‑based bonuses or commissions.
