We are seeking a highly analytical and proactive Senior Financial Analyst – Costing & Inventory to join a growing team. This role is critical to supporting global standard costing processes, inventory valuation, and profitability analysis across the organization.
As a key member of the finance team, you will partner cross-functionally to analyze cost drivers, improve transparency into product costing, and enhance financial decision-making. What You’ll Do
Standard Costing & Analysis
Maintain and set up new part costs within ERP systems (SAP preferred)
Support and execute the annual standard cost roll
Analyze material, labor, and overhead cost changes and communicate key drivers
Partner with the business on cost modeling and product cost comparisons
Contribute to initiatives supporting in-house manufacturing costing structures
Cost Accounting & Inventory Management
Analyze variances to standard cost, supporting FIFO and capitalized variance processes
Prepare and reconcile excess & obsolete (E&O) inventory reserves
Review end-of-life inventory and other critical reserve balances
Controls & Compliance
Support SOX compliance and audit requests related to inventory and costing
Business Partnership & Insights
Model inventory and cost impacts for budgeting and forecasting
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance
3+ years of experience in cost accounting or financial analysis within manufacturing
Strong understanding of GAAP, standard costing, and inventory accounting
Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical mindset
