Overview
MELE Associates, Inc. is seeking an experienced Planning Assistant to support the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) in the execution of its mission, including technical, programmatic management, environmental planning and logistics support services. This full-time on-site position is contingent upon contract award.
Responsibilities
Provide records management support, including compliance with requisite security and retention requirements (e.g., SharePoint support).
Plan and organize meetings, training sessions (for the Contractor and/or members of its Subcontractor Team) and workshops (e.g., program/progress review meetings).
Prepare training/seminar content (for the Contractor and/or members of its Subcontractor Team), presentations, activities, etc.
Prepare technical reports, including technical editing/writing, preparing briefings and other documents, materials for presentation, etc.
Support the planning, procurement, conduct and assessment/documentation of conferences, specialized training sessions (for the Prime Contractor and/or members of its Subcontractor Team) and workshops. As requested and authorized, serve as technical representative on committees, seminars, and other meetings.
Conduct training effectiveness surveys to provide feedback (for Contractor and/or members of its Subcontractor Team).
Maintain weekly task lists and action items status, including preparing weekly and ad hoc reports.
Minimum Qualifications
Current, active DOE Q Clearance/Top Secret Clearance with ability to acquire SCI.
Bachelor’s degree in management or business-related field. Eight (8) years of relevant experience is equivalent to a four (4) year bachelor’s degree.
Minimum five (5) years of government experience.
Superior communication, organizational, interpersonal, and writing skills.

This is a full-time on-site position in Washington, DC 20585; Germantown, MD 20874; or Albuquerque, NM 87123, USA.
SALARY:
Salaries are determined based on several factors including external market data, internal equity, and the candidate’s related knowledge, skills, and abilities for the position. The salary range for this position is $68-78K.
