Job Summary
The Roll-Off Waste Collection Driver is responsible for safely operating roll-off trucks to deliver, remove, and transport open-top and compactor containers to approved disposal facilities. This position requires attention to safety, equipment care, and customer service.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Operate roll-off trucks to deliver and retrieve containers
Transport and dispose of construction, demolition, and industrial waste
Safely secure loads and containers
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
Operate hydraulic hoist and cable systems
Maintain accurate service and disposal records
Communicate professionally with customers and dispatch
Follow DOT, OSHA, and company safety policies
Qualifications
Valid CDL Class B or Class A
Roll-off driving experience preferred
Air brake endorsement required
Acceptable driving record
Ability to work early mornings, overtime, and variable schedules
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
Frequent climbing, bending, and pulling
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
